Description: The Penasquitos Canyon is frequently used by people hiking, jogging, biking and riding. It is an exceptional opportunity to have such a beautiful environment right in San Diego, an environment we all need to treasure. Make sure you only use the designated trails and pay attention to the 10 mph speed limit. The Penasquitos Map gives you further details about which rules and regulations to comply to.

In the Black Mountain Open Space you will even see hang gliders coming down from the top of the mountain.
